The Science of Light and Energy

Red and near-infrared light therapy uses carefully selected wavelengths of light to support the body’s natural biological processes. By interacting with cells throughout the body, this non-invasive technology helps optimise cellular function, supporting energy production, recovery, performance and overall wellbeing.

At the heart of this process are the mitochondria – often referred to as the powerhouses of the cell. These structures are responsible for producing ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy source required for virtually every biological function. By supporting healthy cellular activity, red and near-infrared light therapy helps create the conditions needed for optimal recovery, resilience, performance and everyday wellbeing.
